I don't think it is fundamentally hipster to enjoy using your hands to create things, even though "craftiness" does encroach into the twee aesthetic that can be quite easily found in many hipster magazines. Perhaps, as part of my adjustment to this new desk-bound job, I've begun to crave some hands-on activity, the results of which are more immediate and visible.

Bollywood Veggies is a small plot of farm land that is being cultivated by the inimitable Ivy Singh-Lim which aims to educate the public about garden farming. It's difficult to say what it actually is, and the crowd that comes here is also a mixed bag, but if the weather is good the place is a splendid afternoon tea in the making.

She gave me a special strength and I'm going to try and make it last a long time.I don't think it's difficult to see why I feel hard done by of late, with difficult people and situations to deal with, much less difficult exam papers. But I won't keep a record of these: they will pass and are not worth holding on to.
